Establishing Parentage for Surrogacy Babies Across Canada

On February 28, 2022 Ellen Embury will be co-chairing Canada’s 5^th Bi-Annual Legal Conference on Surrogacy and Fertility Law.

As part of that Conference, Ellen will be presenting on the legal process of establishing parentage of babies born via surrogacy for each province in Canada.

Her presentation examines the legal process by which the Intended Parents are recognized as the only legal parents of the child via surrogacy, and the differences in that process between the Canadian provinces.
